2022 Projects

2022 has been an amazing year!  We've taken on projects with BMW, Geiger Automotive, Somac America, Progressive Plastics, Holiday Inn Express, Maple Grove RV Park, Foam Fabricators, FSD Robotics, Advanced Resources, Continental Carbonic, Columbia Engineering, E&I Engineering, and Encore!  Unfortunately we can't share all the details, but offer some insight into our projects below.

01

Automotive Parts Automation

On-site Project Management for Automation cells.  Assessments of capabilities, expansions, planned PM's and modifications of existing automation equipment.

02

Thermal Imager

We had some parts that were light sensitive that need inspection.  Using the correct wavelength light and thermal imaging, we were able to test in the most extreme conditions to satisfy the customer.

03

Cable Taming

One customer had unfortunately let their cables get out of control.  We placed a controls engineer and electrician onsite to re-map, re-route and and properly configure the system.

04

Unruly Robot

Robots can occasionally get neglected.  This robot had been onsite for 5 years without any cleanup.  Many technicians had come and gone, leaving the program messy and inefficient.  We were able to reduce cycle time by 27% and clean up the program.

05

Shipping Container Fun

We had a customer that wanted a new concept on a shipping container office.  They wanted to maximize the light in the space but without letting too much heat in the building.  By changing window size, moving them up closer to eaves and overlapping layers, we can achieve this.

06

Overdue PM

These two cells had PMs that were long overdue.  After some cleanup, replacement of bad parts and an updated program, the automation cells are back to running like a dream.

07

Shop Floor Re-design

Planning for expansions can be a chore.  Especially making new automations fit an existing work space.  We use CAD and simulation to ensure you have compliant work spaces.

08

Where's the Camera?

As staff comes and goes, sometimes you lose precious knowledge.  This project involved re-mapping where the cameras were routed to, what they were measuring and turning over those files to the customer.

09

Obsolete Parts Rebuild

Sometimes the parts you need don't exist anymore.  We were able to draw and reproduce duplicate parts to keep a reliable machine working consistently.

10

Trial and ERRRRR....

This testing cell had one side that was always failing parts that would pass on the other side.  We were able to dive into the project to locate the root cause, fix and get the customer back to peak operation.

11

Hopper Paradox

We had a customer with a hopper problem feeding parts to a cartesian robot.  Upon close inspection, it was actually magnets in the part presenter interfering with the hopper's proper function.  Fixed.

12

2A Solution

This is an ongoing project with an anonymous customer.  Artificial Intelligence is advanced enough to gather information from 2D images on search engines.  We're working to help ensure privacy and security remain priority for weapons manufacturers.

13

Robot Repair

We had a facility that needed 8 different robots repaired.  Took a while, but all have their "hips replaced" and are back to building products for the customer.

14

Scoop of...

Very fun project.  A customer wanted a stainless steel coffee scoop and bag clip in one.  We now exclusively supply the veteran owned business with these unique utensils.
